To estimate the area under the curve, we have divide the area into strips.

the width of the strips, h = b - a
                                           n

•  h = the width of the strips
• b = interval                       
• a = interval                       
• n = number of strips          

Then, we have to draw the table that consist 

 i, x, y and 2y.

 

 

Lastly, we use the formula to calculate the area.
